Evi Woodlinn, Esq. (they/she)
I provide representation in family building, estate planning, domestic violence and protection from harassment, gender marker and name changes, and landlord-tenant matters.
Prior to opening my solo practice, I was the leader of the Family Formation practice and a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at a large Maine law firm. Previously, I served as a law clerk for the Hon. Jeffrey L. Hjelm of the ME Supreme Judicial Court, and spent several years as Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Special Federal Litigation Division of the NYC Law Department. I also served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Geoffrey W. Crawford of the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont.
I currently serve on the Boards of Directors of Birth Roots and Portland Outright. When I’m not lawyering, I can be found adventuring with my spouse and toddler, running, backcountry skiing, meditating, or backpacking Maine’s mountains.
I earned my J.D. from Vermont Law and Graduate School, and my B.A. from Mount Holyoke College. I’m admitted to practice in Maine, New Hampshire, and New York.
Whether you are navigating a complex legal issue, planning for the future, or seeking support in times of uncertainty, I provide thoughtful, accessible legal guidance tailored to your needs.

Elise Boyson (she/her)
I am thrilled to be supporting Woodlinn Law after almost two decades working in the non-profit sector. Over my career I have worked primarily in social services, aiming to increase resources, care and compassion for people in historically marginalized communities. While I take a step back from the nonprofit world and explore next steps, I am enjoying utilizing my administrative background and problem-solving skills in the legal world with my dear friend Evi.
I'm also a barista at Double Great coffee shop on Munjoy Hill, an obsessed dog mom, an enthusiastic aunt, a skier, biker, and lifelong advocate for more love in this world. I look forward to meeting you!!
